The MBA application process is challenging and complex, and chances are you might be feeling like a lost tourist trying to navigate New York City's subway.

We are here to help you better understand both the process and the keys to becoming a successful business school student at Columbia.

Please refer to the official Columbia Business School Admissions website to understand your year's specific admission requirements, but in the meantime, we think it's helpful to keep the following things in mind:

  • Applicants must have earned an accredited bachelor's degree
  • Applicants must have a valid GMAT (preferred) or GRE score
  • Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation
  • Military applicants are eligible to receive a waiver for their $250 application fee

We like to get to know our applicants, so please introduce yourself

The admissions team and the Military in Business Association at Columbia are constantly working to bring the highest quality veterans to the business school.  The Military in Business Association works tirelessly to build relationships with each year's applicants.  We want to share our experiences and answer any questions you might have.

Fill out the form below to schedule a visit, talk to current students, or learn more about the admissions process.

I found Columbia’s veteran club to be cohesive, continually successful in placing veterans at top employers, and foundationally strong with the help of alumni who cared deeply about those who were following in their footsteps. This, ultimately, is what brought me to CBS.
