Spotlight On: MIBA
Friday, November 10, 2017

Spotlight On: MIBA is an event for active duty military and veterans interested in the MBA programs. You will have a chance to experience a mock class, learn about the MIBA community and student life, hear from a financial aid representative, and connect with current students and the admissions committee.

Admissions One-on-one Chat

Meet with a member of the admissions committee! The diversity team of the Columbia Business School admissions committee sets aside time every month to meet with women, military, LGBTQ, Black, and Hispanic prospective MBA students. Come ask a member of the admissions committee any questions about the MBA program or the admissions process and share your story during a 20 minute one-on-one chat.

See our students and professors in action

For your planning, Columbia Business School is in session from September to December and from February to May. Spring, fall, and winter breaks might impact our ability to facilitate an in class visit. Please keep this in mind when scheduling a visit.

Directions to campus

Getting to campus is easy. Columbia is located in Morningside Heights, which is just north of Manhattan's Upper West Side. If you're traveling by taxi, just say: "116th and Broadway." Visitors can also take the subway by catching a 1 train (red line) directly to Columbia University's stop at 116th and Broadway. Once on campus, take a five minute walk to Columbia Business School in Uris Hall, which is located just north of central campus.

Visiting Columbia Business School enabled me to envision what life in NYC was going to be like. I experienced the close-knit culture on campus and met veterans from all service branches... it was a memorable day that helped me realize Columbia Business School was the best place for me to transition.
